is one of the major scenarios within the SAP SCM solution to
cover the logistical needs of shippers. It deals with the
fulfillment of standard customer orders with an emphasis on

Managing replenishment processes efficiently
is critical for several reasons. This scenario covers both the
decision and planning related as well as the execution related
parts of the process. It creates the necessary replenishment
orders, plans and executes its movement in the course of
transportation planning and automates the settlement of freight
costs. The physical process or replenishing is fully visible to
both the manufacturer and the customer from the beginning of the
logistics operation until the final delivery to the
replenishment site.
